1 OHK private number plate

1 OHK is a distinctive dateless registration, comprising four characters in a one number followed by three letters format. As a number 1 plate, it holds a premier position in the hierarchy of desirable registrations, representing the absolute pinnacle for 'OHK' initials. The short, four-character layout offers a clean and easily readable appearance, a style commonly sought by collectors and those desiring a distinctive personal mark.

Dateless registrations of this format typically originate from the era between circa 1953 and 1963. This particular registration, 1 OHK, was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2023. It sold for £11,600 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £14,894. Plates from this historic period are recognised for their timeless aesthetic and have a distinct collector appeal, often favoured for their brevity and lack of year identifiers.

The 'OHK' initials offer considerable scope for personal appeal, making this registration suitable for individuals whose names or businesses incorporate these letters. The mid-market popularity of these initials suggests a broad potential audience without the commonality of more frequently encountered letter combinations.
