About private number plate 1 OTF
1 OTF is a distinctive four-character UK private registration. Its one number followed by three letters format offers a clean, memorable look. The number 1 holds a unique appeal as the pinnacle numerical identifier, making 1 OTF significantly more sought after than registrations with higher numbers for the same initials.
The registration presents a strong potential for owners seeking to represent the prestigious car manufacturer Lotus. This direct association with a high-performance marque is a significant draw for automotive enthusiasts.
Originally released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2026, 1 OTF benefits from the timeless aesthetic of its dateless format. It sold for £11,610 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £14,350. The short letters-first layout provides a classic appearance. The initials OTF are considered mid-market in popularity, suggesting a good breadth of potential appeal.
Plate Circle brings together number plate history, value context, for sale listings, spotted records and verified sold-price history where available.
