1000 CC private number plate

1000 CC is a six-character dateless registration. Its format is four numbers followed by two letters, a numbers-first layout often referred to as 4x2. The repeated identical letters forming the 'CC' at the end provide a strong visual symmetry and memorability, which can enhance collector appeal. This style of registration, with numbers preceding letters, is generally considered less sought after than dateless plates with letters first, but the clear repetition of the final characters offers a distinguishing feature.

The numbers '1000' represent a round number, a pattern that appeals to a specific segment of the market. Paired with the repeating 'CC' initials, the registration presents a clean and impactful visual presence. The clarity of the '1000' and the distinct 'CC' give it a straightforward, impactful reading.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2024. It sold for £22,710 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £29,160.
