11 NGS private number plate

The registration 11 NGS offers a clean, straightforward five-character format of two numbers followed by three letters. This arrangement, with its balanced structure, presents a distinctive appearance. The number 11, as a matched pair of identical digits, adds inherent visual appeal and memorability, a feature often favoured by collectors.

As a dateless registration, 11 NGS does not show a year identifier, contributing to its timeless look. Such plates are associated with an earlier era of UK vehicle registration. The format itself, a numbers-first two-letter combination, is a classic style. While the specific issue period for such dateless marks varied by issuing authority, registrations of this type broadly originate from the circa 1953 to 1963 window. This specific registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2021. It sold for £18,010 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £23,125.

The initials NGS offer a decent level of popularity, suggesting a potentially broad appeal to individuals seeking to represent their initials. For those with NGS as their initials, the registration holds personal significance.
