15 NX private number plate

15 NX is a four-character dateless registration with a 'double two' layout, featuring two numbers followed by two letters. Its short format contributes to a clean and easily recognisable appearance, a characteristic often favoured by collectors.

As a dateless registration, 15 NX does not show a year identifier, allowing it to maintain a timeless look. Such plates are distinct from current-style registrations that incorporate age-related prefixes or suffixes, presenting a more classic aesthetic.

Dateless plates with a 'numbers-first' format, such as 15 NX, have a long history of appeal. The number 15 is the fifteenth number within the significant 10 to 99 band. The 'NX' initials are of niche to low demand, meaning they may appeal to a more specific buyer pool.

15 NX was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2025. It sold for £7,110 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £9,129.
