2 KHM private number plate

2 KHM is a dateless four character registration on a number-letter format. The format has the appearance of a single number followed by three letters, making for a short and clean registration.

As a dateless plate, 2 KHM does not show a year identifier, offering a timeless look. Dateless registrations are typically associated with the earliest era of UK vehicle marking, and those with fewer characters are often considered the most desirable by collectors. The number 2 positions this plate as a lower number within its format, often carrying stronger collector appeal.

The initials KHM present a broader appeal with a decent popularity estimate, suggesting a potentially wider audience of buyers seeking these specific initials for personal identification.

This registration was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2017. It sold for £5,500 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £7,128.
