2 NKD private number plate

2 NKD is a four-character dateless registration, presented in a numbers-first format. This style of registration typically originates from the 1950s to early 1960s, with dateless plates offering a clean look not associated with a specific year identifier. The short, four-character layout often appeals to buyers seeking a concise and memorable registration.

The initials NKD are considered to have mid-market appeal, suggesting a broad potential audience of buyers looking for these specific letter combinations. As a dateless registration with only one number followed by three letters, 2 NKD falls into a desirable category for those seeking earlier and often more sought-after formats.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in January 2023. It sold for £10,010 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £12,853.
