2 OJB private number plate

2 OJB is a dateless, four-character registration with a number-first format. It pairs a low number with a set of initials, offering a clean and concise appearance. The number 2 holds a position of significant collector interest due to its status as one of the lowest available digits, second only to number 1.

The registration format, number-letter, is also a highly sought-after style, particularly for dateless plates. This format is associated with the earliest periods of UK vehicle registration and carries a distinct historical appeal. The dateless nature means that 2 OJB does not show a year identifier, contributing to its timeless look.

The initials OJB present a decent level of popularity, suggesting a broad potential audience of buyers looking for personalised registrations. Registrations combining short formats and notable initials often attract considerable interest.

This specific registration was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2021. It sold for £10,010 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £12,853.
