2 OJM private number plate

2 OJM is a four-character dateless registration with a single number followed by three letters. This format, a number and then three letters, has the clean look associated with dateless registrations and is shorter than typical modern formats. The number 2 positions it within the lower range of standalone numbers, which are generally more sought after than higher numbers. The initials OJM are considered to have decent popularity, suggesting a broad potential buyer pool. This specific registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2024. It sold for £12,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £15,408.

The desirable short format and the clear initials OJM form the leading appeal for this registration. Dateless plates are often chosen for their classic aesthetic, not showing a year identifier, which contributes to their enduring appeal. The directness of the number-letter sequence provides a straightforward and memorable registration.
