2 SOG private number plate

2 SOG is a dateless registration with a strong layout. Its format of one number followed by three letters is short and memorable. The number 2 positions this plate among the very low numbers generally favoured by collectors, especially in dateless formats where fewer digits contribute to a cleaner, more impactful presence.

As a dateless registration, 2 SOG does not show a year identifier, offering a timeless look. The "SOG" initials are likely to interest an individual seeking a registration that represents their name or initials, a primary motivation for many private plate buyers. The initials themselves are considered to have decent popularity, suggesting a broader potential audience within the UK.

The registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2024. It sold for £4,090 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £5,252. The clean and concise four-character format, combined with its low number, makes 2 SOG appeal to buyers looking for significant personal registrations.
