2 TGH private number plate

2 TGH is a short, dateless registration with a straightforward format. The number 2 stands out, offering a low-number appeal, while the three letters TGH form a distinct initial combination. Such registrations are typically sought after by buyers looking for a clean, easy-to-read mark with personal significance. The dateless format means it does not show a year identifier, giving it the timeless look associated with dateless registrations.

The initials TGH are considered to have strong appeal, suggesting a potentially broad buyer audience. Dateless plates from this era, featuring a number followed by letters, are generally desirable. This particular format, with fewer characters and its numbers-first presentation, contributes to its collector interest. Historically, such short, dateless registrations have held enduring appeal among enthusiasts and individuals seeking unique personal identifiers.

This plate was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2017. It sold for £4,100 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £5,314.
