2 THH private number plate

2 THH is a distinctive dateless UK private number plate. With just four characters, it presents a short and clean layout. The format of one number followed by three letters, specifically 2 THH, offers a strong basis for initial-based appeal.

Given its dateless status, 2 THH does not display a year identifier, contributing to the timeless look associated with earlier registration formats. Such plates are generally more sought after due to their clean aesthetic and historical character. The grouping of the three letters 'THH' provides a clear initials reading, which is a significant draw for many buyers seeking personalised registrations.

The number '2' is a low-value digit, and in a dateless registration, lower numbers are typically considered more desirable than higher ones, signalling a shorter, more classic format. The initials 'THH' are considered to have strong appeal, meaning there is a potentially wider audience interested in this particular combination.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2017. It sold for £2,300 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £2,981.
