2 VAN private number plate

2 VAN is a short, four-character dateless registration that offers a clean and direct layout. As a dateless plate, it does not show a year identifier and has the timeless look associated with vehicles from an earlier era. It was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2017. It sold for £9,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £11,664.

The registration format is one number followed by three letters, presenting the initials VAN. This makes it a straightforward choice for individuals with those initials, appealing to a buyer looking for a personalised registration that directly represents their name. The number 2 positions it with other low numbers, which are generally more sought after due to their brevity and visual appeal. This format, with fewer digits and letters, typically carries a strong appeal for collectors and those seeking a concise registration.
