300 OOO private number plate

300 OOO is a dateless registration featuring a round number. The plate's structure comprises three numbers followed by three letters, presenting a symmetrical 3 x 3 layout. This format is notable for the repetition of the letter O, creating a memorable visual rhythm. The initials set of OOO is a mid-market popularity, suggesting a broad potential buyer pool.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2021. It sold for £35,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £44,940. As a dateless plate, it has the clean look associated with registrations from an earlier era, offering a timeless aesthetic. Registrations with fewer characters and a simpler structure, such as this six-character plate, are typically favoured by collectors. The visual appeal of repeated letters, as seen with the OOO, can also enhance collector interest.
