3695 GT private number plate

3695 GT presents a distinctive dateless format, with four numbers preceding two letters. This four numbers followed by two letters structure offers a clean, six-character registration, which has broad appeal. The 'GT' initials are generally considered to have good market popularity, suggesting a decent potential buyer pool.

The registration has strong relevance to owners of high-performance grand tourer or sports cars. Specifically, the 'GT' initials directly mirror the designation for Grand Tourer vehicles, a popular category associated with luxury and performance motoring. The presence of the 'GT' designation may also resonate with enthusiasts of specific marques known for their GT models, such as Koenigsegg.

This registration was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2023. It sold for £8,600 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £11,042. It has the timeless look associated with dateless registrations, where the characters do not show a year identifier. Historically, the 'GT' code was associated with the London SW issuing area, broadly within the pre-2001 two-letter area code system.
