6 NJM private number plate

The registration 6 NJM presents a classic dateless format, featuring a single number followed by three letters. Its four-character length contributes to a clean and concise aesthetic, a characteristic highly valued in the private number plate market. As a dateless registration, it does not show a year identifier, offering a timeless appeal.

The low single digit ‘6’ at the start of the registration is a notable feature, typically signifying a preference for prominent numbers. Combined with the initials NJM, this provides a strong basis for personal appeal. The initials NJM are considered to have decent popularity, suggesting a potentially broad audience within the UK market for those seeking a personalised plate.

This registration was first released to the open market via a DVLA auction in 2024. It sold for £21,010 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £26,977. It has the clean look associated with dateless registrations, a format that tends to appeal to collectors and individuals seeking distinctive plates. Plates of this style, especially with a prominent single digit, are often chosen for their visual impact and personal significance.
