6 NKB private number plate

The registration 6 NKB offers a clean, four-character dateless format. Its compact size contributes to its strong appeal, aligning with the general preference for shorter, more impactful plates. The number 6 itself is a low digit, fitting into a category of registrations that typically capture collector attention due to their visual neatness and association with early registration eras.

As a dateless plate, 6 NKB does not show a year identifier and carries the timeless look associated with registrations from the period when the format was first introduced. This style of registration, with one number followed by three letters, is historically significant, reflecting formats that are often sought after by collectors. For example, the format of one or two letters paired with a single number was notably desirable according to DVLA market analysis.

The initials NKB are considered to have decent popularity, suggesting a broader potential audience for this registration. For buyers looking for initials, NKB offers a clear and accessible combination. The primary appeal of 6 NKB lies in its short, dateless format and the initials it presents.

Released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2026. It sold for £6,410 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £7,923.
