6 OJA private number plate

6 OJA is a four-character dateless registration with a clean, numbers-first format. Plates from this era, issued broadly between 1953 and 1963, have a distinct appeal due to their shorter length and the absence of a year identifier. This particular registration, presented as 6 OJA, also offers potential for representing the initials OJA, which are considered to have mid-market popularity, suggesting a broad audience for this combination.

The number 6 is a low digit, which generally adds to the desirability and visual strength of dateless registrations. Shorter plates such as this four-character example typically hold greater appeal than longer formats, making 6 OJA a concise and memorable option. Dateless plates from around this period, particularly those with fewer characters, are sought after by collectors and those seeking a classic registration.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in May 2024. It sold for £8,900 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £11,428.
