6 OJX private number plate

6 OJX is a compact, four-character dateless registration. Its format of one number followed by three letters makes it a desirable style for personalised number plates. The number 6 is a low number, which is generally more sought after than higher numbers within the dateless format, contributing to the plate's appeal. The initials OJX are considered niche, suggesting a degree of rarity.

Dateless registrations such as 6 OJX have the clean look associated with vehicles from earlier eras, not showing a year identifier. This style of registration generally appeals to buyers looking for a specific initial combination or a short, distinctive plate. The "one number followed by three letters" layout, with numbers preceding letters, is a classic format, and the limited character count results in a shorter, more easily memorable registration.

This registration first entered circulation through a DVLA auction in March 2022. It sold for £3,110 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £3,993.
