60 LX private number plate

60 LX is a four-character dateless UK private registration. The plate features two numbers followed by two letters, presenting as 60 LX. This layout, known as two numbers followed by two letters, offers a distinctive appearance that can stand out.

The short format of 60 LX contributes to its appeal, offering a clean and concise registration. Dateless plates, by their nature, do not display a year identifier, lending them a timeless look that remains popular with collectors and those seeking personalised plates for ongoing use.

Representing the initials LX, this registration has a niche, low-demand popularity. This suggests a degree of rarity, meaning it is less commonly encountered than plates with initials from the top-tier popularity bands. Buyers often seek out initials that hold personal significance, making registrations like 60 LX appealing for individuals with those specific initials.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2021. It sold for £5,110 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £6,561.

The two-digit number 60 falls into the general hierarchy of desirable numbers, typically considered more sought after than three or four-digit numbers.
