60 PET private number plate

60 PET is a distinctive dateless registration with a compact, five-character format. Its structure of two numbers followed by three letters, two numbers followed by three letters, has an approachable and straightforward aesthetic. As a dateless plate, it does not show a year identifier, offering a clean look associated with older registrations. This format is generally more sought after for its brevity and its association with earlier registration eras.

The 'PET' initials present a clear and recognisable reading, making this plate appealing for individuals, families, or businesses connected to that name. The number 60, while not visually substituting for a letter, sits prominently at the start, creating a balanced and memorable registration. Dateless registrations of this style possess enduring collector interest.

This registration was first offered to the public via DVLA auction in April 2023. It sold for £12,510 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £16,063.
