666 TDX private number plate

666 TDX is a six-character dateless registration with three numbers followed by three letters. The format is typically associated with registrations issued between approximately 1953 and 1963, though this specific registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2003. It sold for £350 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £442. The structure offers a distinctive combination of numerals and letters, with the prominent repetition of the digit 6.

The presence of three identical digits, 666, creates a strong visual pattern that is likely to appeal to collectors of repeating-digit registrations. This pattern contributes to the plate's memorability and can be seen as a distinct characteristic. Furthermore, the sequence of numbers and letters forms a mirror image, with 666 at the start and the letters TDX at the end, which adds another layer of visual symmetry.

The initials TDX, while considered to be of niche or low demand in terms of broad market appeal, offer a unique combination for individuals seeking these specific letters. Combined with the visually striking numeric element, 666 TDX presents an interesting option for a buyer looking for a dateless registration with a memorable pattern and a specific initial set.
