6666 B private number plate

6666 B presents a highly distinctive five-character dateless registration. Its most striking visual attribute is the repetition of the digit 6, creating a noticeable pattern. The format is four numbers followed by one letter.

The repetition of digits, as seen in 6666 B, can contribute to a registration's memorability and visual appeal for collectors. Additionally, the sequence of identical numbers can create a palindromic or mirror effect, further enhancing its unique presentation. This type of distinct formatting often appeals to buyers looking for a registration with a strong visual impact.

As a dateless registration, 6666 B does not show a year identifier, offering the clean look associated with older formats. Dateless plates were originally issued prior to the current system of year identifiers and have a timeless appeal. The historic 'B' code signifies its origin in Lancashire.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2018. It sold for £10,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £12,960.
