About private number plate 68 CO

68 CO is a four-character dateless registration in a two-number, two-letter format. Its short, clean layout offers strong visual appeal, making it a desirable option for buyers seeking a distinctive registration. The 'CO' initials provide a good base for personal or brand representation.

This registration has the potential to align with enthusiasts of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. The '8C' of the model name bears a recognisable similarity to the '68' numerical sequence, offering a subtle yet relevant connection for owners of this distinctive vehicle.

The plate was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2020. It sold for £3,810 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £4,892.
