7 LJT private number plate

The registration 7 LJT is a four-character dateless number plate formatted as one number followed by three letters. It features a low number, with the single digit 7 positioned at the start of the registration. This short, dateless format, often seen as a more desirable style for personal registrations, presents a clean and easily readable layout.

The initials LJT are a significant aspect of this registration, appealing to individuals whose names or associations begin with these letters. The 'LJT' set is considered by Plate Circle to have mid-market popularity, suggesting a reasonably broad pool of potential buyers.

Dateless registrations carry a distinct collector appeal, stemming from their association with the earlier eras of UK vehicle registration. The format of 7 LJT, with its numbers-first structure, has the clean look associated with dateless registrations.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2016. It sold for £4,200 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £5,443.
