7 NAB private number plate

The registration 7 NAB presents a compact, four-character format of one number followed by three letters. As a dateless registration, it offers a clean aesthetic, free from the year identifiers found on newer plates. This style of registration, with its fewer characters and dateless quality, holds a particular appeal for collectors and those seeking a straightforward personal mark. Dateless plates with a single number followed by three letters are considered a desirable format, often associated with the earliest eras of vehicle registration in the UK.

The number 7 features prominently, signifying a low-value digit that contributes to the plate's brevity and visual appeal. The initials NAB are presented in a clear letters-first sequence. The initials themselves are of decent popularity, suggesting a broad potential audience seeking to represent their name or significant initials.

This registration was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2026. It sold for £10,570 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £13,065.
