7 WRU private number plate

The 7 WRU registration features a single number followed by three letters, presenting a concise and memorable four-character format. As a dateless registration, it does not show a year identifier, offering the clean look associated with dateless plates. The presence of the number 7 at the start of the sequence contributes to its distinctiveness, placing it as a low number in the hierarchy of such plates.

The initials WRU have a niche to low demand, suggesting a dedicated buyer pool. This registration is also understood to have been released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2018. It sold for £7,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £9,072.

This format and style of registration, namely those with a single number preceding three letters, are known for their appeal. Shorter registrations, such as this four-character example, tend to attract considerable interest due to their visual elegance and ease of recall. The WRU initials provide a unique identifier that could be of interest to individuals or businesses seeking a personalised registration to represent their name or brand.

This plate was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2018.
