79 AA private number plate

79 AA presents a concise and appealing four-character dateless registration. Its clean nn ll layout offers a distinctive look, and the repeated AA initials provide strong visual symmetry and memorability. This format has the timeless quality associated with dateless registrations, making it an attractive proposition for those seeking a classic registration style.

The AA initials are considered to have decent popularity, suggesting a potentially broad appeal for this registration among individuals with those initials. Furthermore, the repetition of the letters AA can enhance its desirability for collectors who value such aesthetic patterns. The short, four-character length also contributes to its appeal, as shorter registrations are generally favoured for their clarity and impactful appearance.

This registration was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2008. It sold for £4,800 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £6,063.
