8 OHJ private number plate

The registration 8 OHJ is a four-character dateless plate with a number-first layout. Its short format offers a clean and direct presentation, a characteristic often sought after by collectors. The number 8 as the initial character places it within the lower range of numbers available on dateless plates, contributing to its distinctive appeal. The letters OHJ represent the initials, offering a personal touch for potential owners. These initials have a decent popularity, suggesting a broad potential buyer pool within the UK market.

This dateless registration 8 OHJ does not show a year identifier, affording it the timeless look associated with registrations from the earlier era of UK vehicle marking. The format of one number followed by three letters is a classic style that has held enduring appeal. This particular registration was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2023. It sold for £5,100 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £6,548.
