About private number plate 8 OSH
8 OSH is a four-character dateless registration. Its short format offers a clean and uncluttered appearance, a characteristic often sought after by collectors. As a dateless plate, it does not show a year identifier, contributing to its timeless look.
The registration begins with a single digit, 8, which is a low number offering significant visual appeal. This is followed by the three-letter combination OSH, representing a set of initials that may hold personal significance. For individuals seeking their own initials, OSH represents a decent popularity tier, suggesting a broader potential audience.
This dateless registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2020. It sold for £26,120 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £33,538.
Plate Circle brings together number plate history, value context, for sale listings, spotted records and verified sold-price history where available.
