KRZ 8 private number plate

KRZ 8 is a four-character dateless registration with a three-letter, one-number format. This layout, KRZ followed by 8, is a classic structure for private plates, offering a concise and impactful appearance. The single trailing number, 8, is a low digit, contributing to its clean aesthetic.

This registration holds strong appeal for owners of BMW M vehicles, particularly those models that feature the "Z" designation. The sequence KRZ 8 directly mirrors the identifiers found on celebrated BMW M cars such as the Z3 M, Z4 M, and the iconic Z8. This connection is likely to interest enthusiasts and collectors of these performance-oriented vehicles, offering a distinctive way to complement their car.

Historically, personalised registrations have been popular due to a personal connection, with names or initials being the foremost motivation for buyers. With its clear three-letter combination, KRZ 8 provides significant potential for representing initials. Such short, dateless plates originating from Northern Ireland, like this one, typically attract buyers looking for distinctive and straightforward personal identifiers.

KRZ 8 was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2019. It sold for £5,800 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £7,517.
