MAH 600B private number plate

The MAH 600B registration uses a suffix format, which features three letters followed by three numbers and then a final letter. This design offers a clean, seven-character layout with a balanced visual weight. The initial letters MAH present strong initials for personal or corporate use, and the initials popularity is estimated as strong, suggesting broader appeal.

A notable feature of MAH 600B is the incorporation of '600', which directly mirrors the numerical designation found in McLaren 600LT and 620R supercars. This direct match may appeal to owners and enthusiasts of these specific high-performance vehicles, associating the plate with McLaren's distinct lineup.

The suffix system generally ran from 1963 to 1983. However, this specific registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2023. It sold for £10,010 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £12,853. This offers a modern opportunity to acquire a registration in the classic suffix style. The numeric part, 600, falls within the 100 to 999 range, which typically lends itself to a tidy appearance. The repetition of the two zeros in 600 also adds a degree of visual symmetry to the number block.
