NEM 9 private number plate

NEM 9 is a four-character dateless registration in a three letters followed by one number format, offering a concise and distinctive mark. Dateless registrations typically originate from earlier periods of vehicle registration history, presenting a clean aesthetic without a year identifier. This particular format, with its brief layout, is broadly associated with the earliest registration eras, suggesting a strong appeal among collectors favouring historical plate styles.

The registration presents strong potential as an initials plate for individuals or entities with the initials NEM. The initials themselves are a decent match, with an estimated above-average pool of potential buyers across the UK. This broad appeal, combined with the short, impactful format, makes NEM 9 a notable offering for those seeking a personal and memorable registration.

NEM 9 was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2021. It sold for £3,200 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £4,109.
