NNS 1 private number plate

NNS 1 is a four-character dateless registration with a distinctive letters-first format. As a number 1 plate, it represents the pinnacle for the NNS initials, offering a highly sought-after combination. This format, with its short layout and single number, is typically favoured for its clean aesthetic.

The presence of the number 1 signifies a special standing, making NNS 1 stand out. Dateless registrations from this era, characterised by their lack of a year identifier, have a timeless appeal. The NNS initials themselves are likely to hold personal significance for many, working well as a surname or a personal initial set.

This specific registration holds a strong motoring connection, directly mirroring the designation for models such as the Audi Sport Quattro, Ur-Quattro, and S1. This makes it potentially appealing to enthusiasts of these iconic vehicles.

NNS 1 was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2016. It sold for £15,500 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £20,088.
