OSH 2 private number plate

OSH 2 presents a short, four-character dateless registration with a clean three-letter, one-number format. As a dateless plate, it does not show a year identifier and has the timeless look associated with dateless registrations. The number 2 is a low number, which generally holds stronger appeal than higher sequential numbers. This format, consisting of letters followed by a number, is also typically more sought after than numbers-first equivalents for dateless styles due to its association with earlier registration eras.

The initials OSH have a decent popularity, suggesting a good breadth of potential buyers. The plate was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2015. It sold for £2,200 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £2,851.
