SIG 9 private number plate

SIG 9 is a four-character UK private registration with a letters-first, three letters followed by one number format. It presents the letters SIG and the number 9. The single digit 9 is considered a very low number, typically carrying strong appeal. The short layout of SIG 9 contributes to its clean and memorable appearance.

The initials SIG may be of interest to individuals or businesses looking for a personal or brand-related registration. The combination of a readily visible number and concise letter set often appeals to those seeking distinctive personal plates. Surveys indicate that personal names and initials are the leading motivations for acquiring a private registration.

This registration first entered circulation through a DVLA auction in 2017. It sold for £2,900 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £3,758.
