USM 66N private number plate

The suffix registration USM 66N was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2021. It sold for £12,020 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £15,434. The format uses three letters followed by two numbers and a single letter, a style introduced in August 1974 and running until July 1975. This specific layout results in a six-character registration.

The number 66 is presented as a matched pair within the registration, a feature that can enhance visual appeal for collectors. This arrangement provides a clean numerical element, distinct from the more commonly encountered single-digit or triple-digit numbers.

USM constitutes the initial letters, which are estimated to have niche to low demand, suggesting a more exclusive buyer pool. The registration also offers the potential for owners to attach specific personal significance to the USM initials.

The visual elements of USM 66N align with the BMW M2S model, potentially interesting owners or enthusiasts of this particular vehicle. The appearance of the M2S designation, where 'M' represents M-series and '2S' could be interpreted from the 'USM 66N' sequence, offers a specific motoring connection.

While the plate does not form an obvious word or name reading, its structure and the pairing of the '66' digits present a memorable and balanced registration. This makes USM 66N a distinctive option for those appreciating a clear format and specific numerical characteristics.
