WJZ 8 private number plate

WJZ 8 is a compact four-character UK private registration with a distinctive three-letter, one-number format. This arrangement, known as a dateless plate, offers a clean appearance that does not incorporate a year identifier, a characteristic appealing to many collectors. Dateless registrations often possess a timeless aesthetic, and WJZ 8 is no exception, presenting a straightforward and easily readable combination.

The number 8 at the end of WJZ 8 positions it within the lowest band of single digits. Such single-digit numbers are generally considered to have stronger visual appeal and collector interest than higher numbers within the dateless category. The 'WJZ' initials offer a niche appeal, potentially suiting individuals seeking a unique identifier.

A notable aspect of WJZ 8 is its direct potential to appeal to owners and enthusiasts of specific BMW M models. The registration closely matches the designation of the high-performance BMW Z8 sports car, and may also interest owners associated with the Z3 M and Z4 M variants. This direct correspondence can provide a strong motoring link for those looking for a plate that resonates with their passion for these iconic vehicles.

WJZ 8 was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2016. It sold for £1,200 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £1,555.
