2 OCB private number plate

2 OCB is a four character dateless registration with a single number followed by three letters. Its short format contributes to its immediate visual appeal and is typically sought after by buyers. Number 2 is a low number, particularly for a numbers-first dateless plate, and often carries collector interest.

The initials OCB are a decent combination, suggesting a potentially broad audience for this registration, aligning with the primary driver for private plate purchases being personal connection to names or initials.

As a dateless registration, 2 OCB does not show a year identifier, offering a clean look that remains consistently desirable. The format, one number followed by three letters, is a classic structure for dateless plates, with its numbers-first presentation often being recognised. This specific registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2025. It sold for £11,010 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £14,137.
