About private number plate 6 XT
The 6 XT UK private number plate is a distinctive three-character registration. Its layout of a single number followed by two letters creates a concise and memorable format, generally highly regarded for its visual appeal and brevity. Dateless registrations such as this one have the clean look associated with dateless registrations, offering a timeless quality that appeals to a wide range of buyers.
The number 6 is a low single-digit number, which typically carries stronger appeal than higher numbers due to its rarity and the shorter, cleaner registration it helps create. The initials XT represent a niche-low-demand set, suggesting a degree of rarity for those seeking this specific combination. The registration as a whole falls into the desirable category of predominantly short, dateless registrations.
This specific registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2018. It sold for £9,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £11,664.
