FAS 777 private number plate

FAS 777 is a dateless registration with a letter-number format. Its structure, three letters followed by three numbers, presents a classic visual appeal. This style of registration, with its symmetrical three-by-three layout, is often favoured for its clean and memorable appearance.

A notable characteristic of FAS 777 is the repetition of the digit 7. This repdigit in the number sequence adds a distinctive rhythmic quality to the registration, enhancing its visual impact and making it stand out. The presence of identical digits in this manner can appeal to collectors who appreciate patterned or visually striking number plates.

The letters FAS make up the initial set. As a dateless registration, FAS 777 does not show a year identifier, contributing to the timeless look associated with these older formats. Such registrations are from an earlier era of UK vehicle registration.

FAS 777 entered circulation via a DVLA auction in November 2019. It sold for £10,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £12,960.
