11 XT private number plate

The 11 XT registration is a distinctive four-character dateless plate formatted as two numbers followed by two letters. Its short, neat layout contributes to its appeal for collectors and those seeking a streamlined personal identifier. The use of repeated identical digits in the number '11' adds a visual symmetry that can enhance its memorability.

As a dateless registration, 11 XT does not display a year identifier, offering a clean and timeless look. The 'XT' initials themselves are niche, suggesting a personal connection for individuals or businesses with these specific letters. This type of registration appeals to buyers looking for a unique identifier that stands apart from current format plates, with a particular interest in patterns and concise formats.

The number 11, while not number 1, represents a lower range within double-digit numbers, often seen as more desirable than higher triple or quadruple digits. The "2x2" format, presenting two numbers followed by two letters, offers a balanced and easily readable structure. This plate was first released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2022. It sold for £12,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £15,408.
