2 UO private number plate

2 UO is a concise three-character dateless registration. Its one number followed by two letters format, featuring a single number followed by two letters, is a sought-after layout, contributing to its strong visual appeal and buyer interest. Single-digit numbers, especially at the beginning of a dateless registration, typically hold greater collector appeal than those with multiple digits.

The initials UO offer a degree of rarity and can appeal to individuals with those specific initials. While not among the most common letter combinations, UO falls into the rare category, suggesting a smaller pool of potential buyers but also a degree of exclusivity. The short, three-character length of 2 UO ensures a clean and memorable appearance, a characteristic generally preferred by collectors and those seeking distinctive registrations.

This registration was released to the open market via DVLA auction in 2016. It sold for £9,000 (hammer price). With auction fees, the estimated total paid by the buyer was £11,664.
